Notice of Public Hearing
On a Proposed Tax Abatement Application
Notice is hereby given that the Faribault County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 9:30am on August 20, 2024, at the Faribault County Courthouse, 415 North Main Street, in the City of Blue Earth, Minnesota (the “County”), on the application of a proposed 100% tax abatement for five (5) years, for a residential new construction project for the property located at Parcel Identification Number 213100270, pursuant to sections 469.1812 to 469.1815. At said time and place, the County will give all parties to appear the opportunity to express their views with respect to the tax abatement application. Following the public hearing, the County Board will pass a resolution either approving or denying the application.

RE STATUS OF MN DEED SMALL CITIES
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Blue Earth, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 5:10 p.m., regarding the status of the DEED Small Cities Development Program for owner-occupied housing rehab, in the designated target areas of the City. The public hearing will be held at City Hall in the City of Blue Earth, Minnesota.
All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing at which time they will be given the opportunity to express their opinions on the program.
Written testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing. Written comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on August 16, 2024.
The City of Blue Earth makes reasonable accommodation for any resident who has a known disability that will interfere with the resident’s ability to participate in this public hearing. Persons needing an accommodation should notify the City to allow adequate time to make needed arrangements.

The City of Blue Earth is accepting proposals for contract snow plowing and deicing services at the AgCenter Building on an as needed basis. Interested individuals or firms are invited to submit a bid for this work.
The City of Blue Earth reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all proposals or to award multiple contracts as may be deemed in the best interest of the City.
