A Petition for Determination of Descent has been filed with this Court. The Petition represents that the Decedent died more than three years ago, leaving property in Minnesota and requests the probate of Decedent’s last Will (if any), and the descent of such property be determined and assigned by this Court to the persons entitled to the property.
Any objections to the Petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper, and no objections are filed or raised, the Petition may be granted.
IT IS ORDERED and Notice is further given, that the Petition will be heard on October 1 2024, at 10:30 a.m., by this Court at 415 N Main St Blue Earth, Minnesota.

NOTICE OF INFORMAL PROBATE OF WILL AND INFORMAL APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
Notice is given that an Application for Informal Probate of Will and Informal Appointment of
Personal Representative was filed with the Registrar, along with a Will dated 4-25-2011. The
Registrar accepted the application and informally appointed Steven Frandle, whose address is 47459 10th St, Frost, MN 56033, to serve as the personal representative of the Decedent’s estate.
Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Any objection to the appointment of the personal representative must be filed with the Court, and any properly filed objection will be heard by the Court after notice is provided to interested persons of the date of hearing on the objection.
Unless objections are filed, and unless the Court orders otherwise, the personal representative has the full power to administer the estate, including, after thirty (30) days from the issuance of letters testamentary, the power to sell, encumber, lease, or distribute any interest in real estate owned by the Decedent.
Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the Decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

August 12, 2024
A Board Meeting of the Board of Education of Blue Earth Area, I.S.D. #2860 was held on Monday, August 12th, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Members of the public interested in monitoring the Board Meeting from a remote location made use of the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ISD2860
Board Members were present in person with Superintendent M. Fletcher for the regular board meeting at the meeting location: Blue Earth Area High School Media Center 1125 Highway 169 N Blue Earth, MN 56013.
Members present: S. Hauskins, J. Eckles, L. Mensing, M. Franta, K. Zierke. S. Beyer, T. Armon and Student Rep. R. Machacek.

Routine Items
I. Call to Order: Chairperson Hauskins called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
II. Pledge of Allegiance:
III. Approve Agenda: Agenda was amended with the addition of a lane change. Franta made a motion to add an agenda item to the meeting to address the loss of teachers. Second by Zierke. Discussion was had to plan a working session at a later time. Motion failed on a vote of 2-5. A motion was made by Franta to add an agenda item to gather more information about guest teachers. Motion failed due to a lack of second. On a Beyer/Armon motion, agenda was approved on a 6-1 vote.
IV. Public Input: Bryce Hanson addressed the board.
V. Approve Minutes: On an Eckles/Mensing motion. Approved 7-0.
VI. Approve Payment of Bills and Wire Transfers: June and July, 2024. On a Zierke/Eckles motion. Approved 7-0.
VII. District Reports: None.
VIII. Chairperson’s Report:
Board Work Session, August 19th at 5:30 pm.
Reminder of Board policy regarding public input.
IX. Superintendent’s Report:
A. Back to School Workshops: New hires start on August 14th with workshops. There was a brief discussion regarding the mentoring process. Fletcher also reviewed the fall workshops for all teachers and the Staff Breakfast on August 22nd and meetings in the PAC following.
B. Infinite Campus (IC) Rollout: IC was rolled out to all staff and parents.
C. Board Filing Window: Window for filing is from July 30th – August 13th.
D. High School Commons Floor: A brief tour was given to see the new Commons Floor and a brief review of summer facilities projects.
X. Committee Reports:
DAT – Eckles gave an update on the meeting was held on July 26th.
Negotiations Committee – Non Certified Meeting, August 22nd, 2024.
XI. Principal’s Report:
Dressler – Training is being held for Paras by Southern Plains, new staff starting on August 14th. Kudos shared to the custodial staff for their hard work over the summer. Back to school conferences will be held August 26th and 27th.
Shafer – Shared about new hires, 8th grade orientation is being held on Thursday, August 15th. Bucs Bash is Wednesday, August 21st from 4:30 – 7 pm. Student schedules and Chromebooks will be distributed that evening.
Assistant – Mr. Sturtz shared an update on his summer training and staffing and scheduling.
XII. Curriculum/Instruction Director Report: Schmidt gave an update on LETRS/READ Act training as well as Math PD.
XIII. Activity Director Update: Armstrong gave details about the upcoming fall activities and that fall participation is up from 2023-24. He also reviewed eSports and Drone Racing – 2 new activities this fall.

RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Proposals for the work described below will be received online through QuestCDN.com until 2:00 p.m. on October 10, 2024, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read at the office of Blue Earth Light & Water general manager, Blue Earth Light & Water, 125 E. 7th Street, Blue Earth, MN 56013.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of the following, together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents:
1. Construction of a new reverse osmosis building, clearwell, reservoir, reclaim tank, and associated equipment, chemical feed, and appurtenances.
2. Renovation of the existing treatment facility components, including the mechanical aerator, detention tank, concrete filters, and replacement of the existing chemical feed systems. Miscellaneous renovations to the existing treatment facility building and systems.
3. Furnish and install new power distribution and generation equipment, electrical systems, process controls, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
4. Decommissioning and demolition of the existing reservoir, backwash recovery basin, pump building, and all associated equipment and appurtenances.
5. Various other trades associated with the above work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls, painting and coating systems, and civil site improvements.
COMPLETION OF WORK: The work must be substantially complete within six-hundred seventy (670) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed, and all work completed and ready for final payment within seven-hundred thirty (730) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
