By Staff | May 27, 2008

Four Blue Earth Area girls golf team members will be advancing to the Section 2AA Golf Tournament. It will be held on Tuesday in Dodge Center.

The four are Stephanie Wolff, Ally Ewest, Jessica Skaare and Morgan Dickman.

But as a team, the girls fell just two strokes short of advancing to the Section.

The Sub-Section Tournament was held last week Tuesday, and the BEA girls shot a 410 which put them into third place. USC won the tourney, with a 395. In second place was St. Peter with a 408.

Only the top two teams advance to the Section.

Wolff led the Bucs with a 98. Other scores for the BEA girls were Ewest with a 101, Skaare a 105, Dickman with a 106.

In addition, Mackenzie Lein shot a 114 and Olivia Skaare a 126.

Stephanie Herman of USC was the medalist with a 91. Christina Kisch of St. Peter shot a 92. Wolff was in ninth place overall, and Ewest was tenth.

The top two teams and their members go to Section, along with the next ten lowest scoring players who are not on the two winning teams.
