The Blue Earth Area boys track and field team was sixth at the St. James meet held on Tuesday.

United South Central/Alden-Conger claimed the team title with 125 points, while the Bucs finished with 42.

Nate Carr cleared 5-10 to post a win in the high jump and was clocked in 16.6 in the 110-meter high hurdles to grab second place.

The Bucs had three relays finishing in the Top 5.

The foursome of Zach Tvedten, Daniel Plocker, Santos Flores and Adam Meyer took third in the 4 x 100-meter relay with a time of 48.1. 

Eduardo Vega (2:18.3), Abi Vasquez (2:19.9), Jake Wagner (2:23.7) and Daniel Eckhardt (2:32.8) joined forces for a fifth place time of 9:34.8 in the 4 x 800-meter relay.

 The 4 x 200-meter quartet JT Roe (25.3), Jake Zebedee (26.3), Jacob Olson (26.9), and Tanner O’Rourke (26.2) placed fifth in 1:45.0.

BEA’s Nick Lee had the second best toss in the shot put with 38-2 and Taylor Andrews finished in fourth place with a distance of 36-9.

In the pole vault, Zach Tvedten cleared 10-0 to take fourth place and Jake Zebedee was right behind in fifth place with 9-6.

Jacob Olson paced BEA in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.1 to finish fifth overall.
