The Buc boys took fifth place at the Sentinel Relays held May 1 in Fairmont.

BEA finished with 77 points. United South Central-Alden-Conger won the team title with 144 points, followed by Hutchinson (130), Spirit Lake Park (123) and Fairmont (113).

Nate Carr had two first-place finishes and a third place to pace the boys.

The Buc junior struck gold in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles with his time of 41.0 and was first in the high jump, clearing the bar at 6-0.

Carr posted a third-place time of 15.8 in the 100-meter high hurdles.

In the sprints, Zach Tvedten was the top Buc finisher in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.7 to take fourth place.

The BEA foursome of Tvedten, Daniel Plocker, Santos Flores and Nick Lee teamed up for a time of 46.9 to grab a bronze medal in the 4 x 100-meter relay.

The “Lee Boys” cracked the Top 5 in the shot put competition.

Jake Lee’s toss of 44-4.5 gave him a silver medal, while Nick Lee took fourth place with a distance of 41-10.

In the discus, Jake Lee unleashed a throw of 109-10 for fifth place.
