JCC 171, BEA 179

The Buccaneer boys golf team came close on Monday when they hosted the Jackson County Central Huskies – but not close enough.

BEA lost 171-179 to JCC on the Riverside Town and Country Golf Course.

Jon Trasamar and Derek Abel led the Bucs with identical scores of 42. Andy Aukes added a 46, and Slater Peterson shot a 49 to round out the Bucs’ team total.

Pat Garvin of JCC claimed medalist honors, shooting a 41, just a stroke lower than two of the BEA scores.

BEA 337, St. James 398

The Bucs got back on the winning track on Tuesday when they traveled to St. James and took on the Saints.

BEA scored a 337 to St. James’ 398.

Jon Trasamar shot a 73 to lead the Buccaneer scoring. Derek Abel came in with an 85, Andy Aukes an 89 and Chris Sundquist a 90 for the team total.
