The Blue Earth Area Buccaneer boys golf team took second-place honors at the South Central Confer-ence Golf Meet held May 15 at River-side Town and Country Golf Club in Blue Earth.

The Fairmont team came in first, shooting 315 as a team. BEA totaled 345 for the second place spot.

St. Peter was third at 356, Waseca fourth with 358, New Ulm was fifth with 360 and St. James shot a 386 for sixth place.

The Bucs’ Jon Trasamar was third in the meet, shooting a 79. He was also the only Buc golfer to make the All-Conference team.

Myles Pfingsten of Fairmont was the meet medalist with a 75.

Ryan Stevens of Fairmont was in second place with a 77.
