The Blue Earth Area Buccaneer volleyball team got the No. 3 seed in the Class AA Section 2 South Sub-Section Tournament, it was announced last week.

The Bucs will face No. 6 seeded Montgomery-Lonsdale on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in Blue Earth.

If they defeat the Redbirds, they will next face either the No. 2 seeded team from New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva or No. 7 seed, Maple River. That match would be held at the home court of the higher seeded team, on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m..

Le Sueur-Henderson received the No. 1 seed.

The sub-section championship match will be held on Nov. 5 at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter at 7:45 p.m.
