They say all good things must come to an end.

The Bucs girls basketball team saw their 11-game winning streak come to a screeching halt as the visiting St. Peter Saints toppled the Bucs by the final score of 52-50 in action Feb. 5.

For the third time in three games the Bucs fell behind to their opponents by double digits and for the third time the Bucs were able to overcome the deficit. This time the Bucs could not hold on as the Saints retook the lead, scoring the final three points of the night on free throws.

It appeared as though the Bucs may have gotten over their first half woes when they worked their way to a 17-12 lead.

The Saints, however, would go on a 17-0 run that would put the Bucs down 29-17 with just over three minutes left in the first half.
