Bucs fall to Cards

The Buccaneer boys golf team fell to the Fairmont Cardinals in a golf meet last Monday in Fairmont.

The Bucs shot a 367, but were bested by the Cards who came in with a 307.

Andy Aukes led the Bucs with an 82 (39-43). Derek Abel shot a 92 (45-47), while Slater Peterson came in with a score of 95 ((43-52).

Nate Glimsdal rounded out the Buc scoring with a 98 (47-51).

Other varsity scores for BEA included Chris Sundquist with a 104 (48-56) and Jacob Black with 120 (53-67).

Fairmont’s Myles Pfingsten was medalist at the meet, with a 74 (37-37).

The Bucs play at Belle Plaine on Monday, Montgomery-Lonsdale on Thursday, and Fairmont on Saturday this week.
