Buc netters get shut out by Saints

The Blue Earth Area Buccaneers learned first hand why the St. James Saints are having a great season.
The Saints blasted the Bucs 7-0 in Blue Earth last Thursday.
The Bucs Karleigh Wolff scored the only set win during the match. She lost at No. 3 singles to Michaela Nordby, 6-3, 1-6, 6-0.
Abby Nimz lost to Paige Olson at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1. At No. 2 singles, Kelly Shortenhaus fell 6-0, 6-1 to Aryn Eckstrom. Kaitlyn Olsen lost to Lorena Hernandez at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Jordan Hanevik and Autumn Drake lost to McKenzie Gronewald and Julia Runge at No. 1 doubles, 6-2, 6-1.
At No. 2 doubles, Lindsey Prokop and Blaire Zierke lost to Sandra Hernandez and Megan Lahti, 6-2, 6-1.
Aeli Olson and Annika Wilhelmi fell at No. 3 doubles, 6-0, 6-1, to Sarah Durleim and Courtney Rushing.
The loss was the first for the Bucs in the South Central Conference. Their overall season record now stands at 3-5.
