Girl linksters start season in NU

Despite rainy, cold weather conditions which postponed other BEA sports, the Buccaneer girls golf team played in their first meet of the year last Thursday afternoon in New Ulm.

The Bucs carded a 474, good for fifth place out of seven teams.

Autumn Drake led the way for BEA shooting a 98 (49-49). The score put her in fifth place.

Allie Curtis had a 117 (62-55) for 21st place in the meet.

Seventh-grader Natalie Fellows carded a 129 ( 59-70) which put her in 29th place. Emily Davids was one place behind, with a 130 (64-66).

Other Buc scores were Aeli Olson with a 135 (66-69) and Anna Aukes with 138 (73-65).

Fairmont won the meet with a score of 378.
