USC tracksters head to state
Two United South Central/Alden-Conger tracksters are moving on to the State Meet on Friday, June 7.
Emily Mantor took second in the 3200-meter run at Saturday’s Section Meet with a time of 11:32.93.
“I’m really excited to represent our team, USC/AC, along with Amanda, at the state meet this weekend,” says Mantor.
Amanda Allis also took second in the shot put event, securing her a spot in the State Meet, with a throw of 38-6.5.
Overall the girls team ranked sixth out of 23. The boys team placed 19th out of 24.
