Volleyball team takes down Maple River
The Blue Earth Area Buccaneer volleyball team opened up Section 2AA Tournament action in fine fashion last Thursday night. The No. 3 seed in the south sub-section Bucs swept the No. 6 seeded Maple River Eagles 3-0 on the Bucs’ home court.
Now BEA will advance to the next round, a match against No. 2 seed St. Peter on Tuesday night which will be played at Mankato East High School.
