In his best imitation of Superman, Brayden Barnett attempts to fly over the Wells Legion catcher at home plate in this action during the double-header action in Blue Earth last Monday. Unfortunately for Blue Earth fans, the catcher was able to maintain control of the ball despite the collision and Barnett was called out.

On Monday, June 4, the baseball team of Blue Earth/Winnebago Legion Post 89 and 82 hosted the Wells Legion and lost both games of their double-header.

In the first contest, Blue Earth/Winnebago was defeated by a score of 8-6. Meanwhile, Keagon O’Brein tossed four innings and gave up three runs on three hits while also recording three strikeouts.

Offensively, Jordan Huse, Koby Nagel and Brayden Barnett all collected three hits for Blue Earth/Winnebago in the loss.
