The boys and girls United South Central cross country teams placed several individuals on the Gopher Conference All-Conference lists during action at the conference cross country meet on Saturday, Oct. 10.

For the girls, Lauren Mutschler and Lindsay Thunstedt were both named Second Team All-Conference. Jenny Mulholland was on the Honorable Mention All-Conference list.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown took first in conference with a score of 37 at the meet. Maple River was second with 42, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was third with 78, USC/Alden was fourth with 89 points and Blooming Prairie was fifth with 102 points. Both Hayfield and Medford had incomplete scores.

For the boys team, Rebel Micah Hamson was on the Second Team All-Conference list, while teammate Gabe Schroeder was on the Honorable Mention All-Conference list.

Medford took first place and the conference championship at the meet with a team score of 31. In second was Maple River with 50 points, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was third with 107, W-E-M was fourth with 110, Hayfield fifth with 118, Blooming Prairie sixth with 119 and USC/Alden seventh with 153.
