The United South Central girls softball team traveled to Blooming Prairie on Monday, May 3, and came home with a 7-1 loss to the Blossoms.

USC had five hits in the game, with singles by Hanna Olson, Molly Wegner, Allie Niebuhr, Izzy O’Rourke and Kendall Harpestad. Niebuhr was credited with the RBI.

Hannah Meyer pitched all six innings, giving up seven runs, four of them earned, on six hits and had one walk and seven strikeouts.
