USC boys second, girls third at Medford

The United South Central Rebel boys track team took second and the girls took third at the Medford Track Meet on Thursday, May 6.

The boys scored 72 points to take second, while Medford was in first with 97, Blooming Prairie was third at 66 and Faribault Bethlehem Academy was fourth with 29.

The USC girls score of 62 put them in third, with Medford again claiming first with 91 points, Blooming Prairie second with 76 and FBA fourth with 28.

Boys Results

Isaac Burgett took second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.12, while Ethan Dallman was fourth at 12.28. Dallman took third in the 200 meter dash at 25.21 and Aaron Bullerman was fourth at 25.69. In the 800 meter run, Gabe Schroeder was second with a time of 2:13 and Tristan Obermeyer was third at 2:29. Micah Hamson took third in the 1600 meter run at 5:29.07 and first in the 3200 meter run at 11:46.61.

In the 110 meter hurdles Riley Staloch took first at 16.68 and first in the 300 meter hurdles at 43.58.

The Rebels took second in the 4×100 meter relay with a time of 48.51, second in the 4×200 meter relay at 1:44.33, and first in the 4×400 meter relay at 3:48.27.

Isaac Burgett took first in the high jump at 5-02 and Nathanial Clore was fourth at 5-00. Ethan Dallman was second in the long jump at 17-08.50. Joe Bonsack was fourth in the discus throw at 86-03. Burgett was third in the shot put at 36-00 and Bonsack was fourth at 34-02.

Girls Results

Lauren Mutschler was fifth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 15.32. Lindsey Thunstedt was fifth in the 400 meter dash at 1:18 and Jenny Mulholland was sixth at 1:19.12. In the 800 meter run Madison Klingbeil was third at 2:50.38 and Addison Mithun was fifth at 2:59.67. Mulholland was second in the 1600 meter run at 6:44.66 and Kristen Hubbard was fifth at 7:25.60.

Lexi Johnson took second in the 100 meter hurdles at 19.23, Melany Ehlert was third at 19.39, Madison Passer was fourth at 21.82 and Madelyn Cincoski was seventh at 28.83. Ehlert was second in the 300 meter hurdles at 56.00, Passer was third at 59.34, Johnson was fifth at 1:04.01 and Delany Weber was sixth at 1:10.38.

The USC girls were third in the 4×100 meter relay at 1:00.75, third in the 4×200 meter relay at 2:10.47 and third in the 4×400 meter relay at 5:04.62.

Destiny Chavez took second in the high jump at 3-08 and Eleanor Kayser took third at 3-08. Madison Klingbeil was second in the pole vault at 6-06 and Lauren Mutschler was fourth at 6-06. Melany Ehlert took fourth in the long jump at 13-04. Grace Mithun took fourth in the triple jump at 26-05.50.

Kylie Niebuhr was second in the discus throw at 86-07 and Lydia Niebuhr was fourth at 79-07. Kylie Niebuhr was also second in the shot put at 33-02 and Lydia Niebuhr was fifth at 27-09.

Coming up for the Rebels are track meets at home on May 13, a true team meet at Maple River May 20, sub-sections on June 3 also at Maple River and Sections on June 12 at Mankato West.
