USC runs at Maple River

The United South Central Rebel cross country team competed at the Maple River Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 16.

Merideth Klingbeil led the way for the Rebels, placing 22nd out of 51 runners, with a time of 27:05.

Kayla Thunstedt was 28th with a time of 28:52, Lexi Johnson was 35th at 29:54 and Lyndsey Thunstedt was 44th with a time of 33:46.

Paige Diekmann did not compete due to injury, and Gabe Schroeder did not compete due to being sick.

Next up for the Rebel runners was a competition in Fairmont on Monday, Sept. 20, and at Jackson on Thursday, Sept. 23, and at Winona on Saturday, Sept. 25.
