Plocker describes his senior track boys as a group of talented and dedicated individuals who enjoy the sport and relish training with each other.

There are seven seniors on the boys team. Waylen Douglas, Bruk Sonnicksen and Aaron Lorenz run sprints for BEA and compete on relay teams. Lorenz is also a jumper. Gabe Torres runs the sprints and competes in the jumps along with Arty Mwangi. Rounding out the senior boys are Luke Norman and Blake Ripley, who do battle in the throwing events.

A large junior class helps give the team some depth. The juniors are: Nick Blum, Alex Dikken, Shane Levenhagen, Blair Lunz, Angel Martinez, Jack Norman, Eli Paz, Austin Skaden and Austin Stauffer.

Sophomores out for track include: Kade Gaydon, Thomas Golly, Jamie Johnson and Carson Meyers.

Ninth graders participating in track this year are: Isaac Anderson, Gage Barker, Aiden Donahue, Jacob Grandgenett and Ben Thompson.

Marcus Eckles, Gibson Haase, Julian Rodriguez, Parker Stauffer and Kayden Walters are the eighth graders on the team.

Joining the team for their first year are seventh graders: Oliver Ankeny, Sullivan Dahlberg, Kadyn Flowers, Caden Juba, Ian Viland and Trey Zierke.

The first outdoor track meet for the Bucs is scheduled for April 5. It will be held in St. James.

Two invitational meets are set to be held at Wilson Field in Blue Earth this season. The first one will be held on April 12 and the second one is slated to take place on April 29.
