Girls

The weather finally cooperated and the Blue Earth Area girls golf team was able to host a triangular meet at Riverside Town & Country Club on April 11 against Maple River and Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman.

However, neither Maple River or GHEC/T were able to field a complete team which gave the Bucs the victory.

“We shot a 201 today which is 30 strokes better than last year at this same meet,” BEA head girls golf coach, Al Cue, said. “It was nice to get a meet in after having to cancel our first two competitions.”

Kylie Rosenau was the medalist for the meet with a score of 45. Payten Gudahl carded a 47 and Katelyn Storbeck finished with a 48.

The final score used by the Bucs was Maddie Ehrich who finished with a 61. Also golfing for the varsity were Rylan Storbeck, who shot a 62 and Liz Beeler, who finished with a 72.
