GCA begins their second year of trap shooting

The Genesis Classical Academy (GCA) Griffins Trap Shooting team faced off with high winds and cold temperatures on Monday, April 25, for their second Trap Shoot of the season at Center Creek Gun Club.
One team member, Carter Gunzenhauser, earned a personal best score with 42.
Other scores included Annika Bonnema 31, Tanner Ertman 17, Grace Garletz 21, Wesley Greer 19, Gavin Greiner 37, Jacob Gunzenhauser 26, Jayden Heenan-Cassidy 22, Avery Krause 18, Lindsey Lawrence 36, Aiden Murphey 33, Elijah Slater 36, Isaiah Slater 35, Jacob Stensland 23, Liberty Walker 3.
GCA will compete in their third event of the season on Monday, May 2, at 5:30 p.m. at Center Creek Gun Club.
Genesis Classical Academy had a beautiful night to host the first trap event of the season on Thursday, April 21.
Of the 15 students on the team, several students earned their personal best scores. Among them were Annika Bonnema, Isaiah Slater, Avery Krause, and Liberty Walker.
GCA is in their second spring season competing in the Minnesota High School Clay Target League in Class 1A, Conference 6 – one of 9 schools in this conference.
