The United South Central/Alden-Conger boys and girls track teams hosted their own Invitational Track Meet in Wells at USC on Monday, May 23.
“A beautiful night for a meet,” said USC/AC track coach Kara Christianson. “There were many personal bests on both the boys’ and girls’ teams.”
USC/AC Girls Team
The USC/AC girls team took third at the meet. Fairmont was in first place, JWP second and St. Clair fourth.
“The girls’ team is showing continual progress and the girls are eager to fill events and participate at their best level,” coach Christianson said. “Melany Ehlert, in her senior year, is doing a fantastic job finishing first in the 100 hurdles, second in the 300 hurdles, and second in the shot put. Other second place finishers are Alyssa Samudio (junior) in the 800m, Antoinette Dickson (sophomore) in the 100m, Madison Passer (freshman) in high jump.
