“I would like to recognize and congratulate all the athletes that finished the season,” coach Christianson said. “These athletes ran in all conditions this year including rain, sleet, blizzards, extreme heat, and extreme wind. You know that you have dedicated individuals when there are icicles on the hurdles and blizzard conditions at the track, and they still have smiles on their faces as they run on the big beautiful oval. These track athletes made the commitment to be at practice throughout the season, work hard, and encourage their teammates. Although we will lose a wonderful group of seniors who will be missed, we also have promising upcoming athletes showing improvement every day.”
