Montgomery was the latest destination for the United South Central/ Alden-Conger cross country team when they participated in the Tri-City United Invitational Meet on Thursday, Sept. 8.

Overall the team had a score of 549 and placed 22nd.

The top finisher for the Rebels was Alexis Guenther with a time of 25:30 which was good for 85th place.

Other individual scores included: Danika Diekmann – 25:30, 85th; Kayla Thunstedt – 28:09, 120th; Alyssa Samudio – 28:47, 127th; Lindsay Thunstedt – 33:12, 143rd.

The Rebels competed in the Maple River Invite on Thursday, Sept. 15, at Daly Park. They travel to Albert Lea on Sept. 20, where they will participate in a meet held at Bancroft Bay Park.
