The Blue Earth Diamonds softball team picked up two wins when they downed St. Peter 9-0 and 12-7 in a doubleheader played in Blue Earth on Tuesday, June 20.

Kylee Eckmann got the win in the first game but no other statistics were available.

The second game was tied heading into the fifth inning when Olivia Dutton singled to drive in two runs and give the Diamonds the lead for good.

Eckmann was on the mound again for Blue Earth and pitched four innings. She allowed seven runs on seven hits and struck out six St. Peter batters.

The Diamonds pounded out 13 hits in the 12-7 victory.
