United South Central’s Chloe Lutteke placed fifth in the shot put at the Viesselman True Team Invite with a toss of 30-06.5.

The United South Central/Alden-Conger Track and Field teams hosted the annual Viesseleman True Team Invitational Meet on Tuesday, April 9.

There were six teams participating on both the boys and girls sides of the meet.

For the boys, Maple River was first with a score of 313.5, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial/Nicollet was second at 273.5, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was third at 201, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown took fourth with 177.5, Blue Earth Area was fifth with 167 and USC/AC was sixth with 128.5.

On the girls side, LCWM/N took first place with 295.5 points, NRHEG was second with 275, BEA third with 216, Maple River fourth with 193, USC/AC fifth with 170.5 and WEM sixth at 160.

USC/AC Boys Results

The USC/AC team had two members claim second place finishes in two events.

Brant Blosser took second in the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 16.17, and Jayden Barnick took second in the high jump with a personal record best height of 5-8.

Henry Beaver hurled the shot put 39-1.5 for a personal record and a third place finish.

The 4×400 meter relay team of Barnick, Isaac Hartman, Maxwell Schull, and Blosser was in fourth place with a personal record time of 4:07.99.

Taking fifth place in the 800-meters with a personal record best time of 2:53.18 was Garrett Lau.

Sixth place finishers included Ezra Edwards in the discus with a distance of 103-10, Aiden Edwards in the 1600 meters with a time of 6:27.40, the 4×200 meter relay team of Jace Ignaszewski, Jaiden Aranda, Joseph Ridler and Caleb Whiteside with a time of 1:55.94 and the 4×100 meter relay team of Whiteside, Maxwell Schull, Aranda and Angel Dejesus with a time of 51.99.

USC/AC Girls Results

There were four third place finishers to lead the USC/AC girls team.

Alexis Guenther was third in the 1600 meters with a time of 6:15.90, Chloe Bullerman took third in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 54.45, Chloe Lutteke was third in the discus with a toss of 100-10, and Jaelyn Stangler was tied for third in the high jump with a jump of 4-8, a personal record.

Fourth place went to Madison Passer in the 100 high hurdles in 18.90 and Danyelle Dickson in the 400 meters with a time of 1:08.20.

Fifth place finishers were the 4×200 meter relay team of Tatum Stangler, Mikaylee Roth, Aliza Nietzel and Mikayla Becker with a time of 2:12.84, the 4×400 meter relay team of Chloe Bullerman, Clare Kruse, Guenther and Hannah Warmka with a time of 4:58.93, Lutteke in the shot put with a distance of 30-6.5, and Sydney Sauke in the triple jump with a leap of 28-6.

Kiera Schultz claimed sixth place in the shot put with a personal record distance of 29, Bullerman was sixth in the 100 high hurdles with a time of 19.34 and the 4×100 meter relay team was sixth with a time of 1:01.97. The team is composed of Rebecca Kruse, Jaelyn Stangler, Elise Hanson and Becker.
