The United South Central/Alden Conger boys and girls cross country teams participated in the Medford Tiger Trail Run in Medford to start off the season.

While times for the individual runners were listed, no report of how they placed was available.

For the boys, Laiken Farris led the way for USC/AC with a time of 20:27. Right behind him was Isaac Hartman with a time of 20:35.

Aiden Edwards clocked in with a time of 23:25, Josh Brooks was at 24:07, Alexis Arguijo at 24:10, Samuel Treptow came in at 24:50 and Benjamin Schwartz had a time of 27:03.

For the girls, Clare Kruse led the way with a time of 27:13. Right behind her was Emma Johnson at 27:46 and Hailey Bjornstad came in at 33:25.

Next up for the team was a big meet at Mountain Lake on Friday, Aug. 30.
