The United South Central/Alden-Conger cross country teams ran in the Gerry Smith Invitational Cross Country Meet, held on Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Montgomery Golf Club.

The meet was hosted by the Titans of Tri-City United High School in Montgomery.

The USC-AC girls team came in at 23rd place with 599 points, while the boys team finished in 27th place with 718 points.

Alexis Guenther led the girls team, coming in at 60th place with a time of 22:33.

Clare Kruse was in 123rd place with a time of 25:35 and Emma Johnson was in 127th place with a time of 25:49.

In 170th place with a time of 32:26 was Hailey Bjornstad, and Isabella Guenther was in 172nd place with a time of 38:39.

For the boys, Laiken Farris finished in 103rd place with a time of 20:13. Josh Brooks had a time of 21:56 which put him in 153rd place.

Riley Krohnberg was not far behind, taking 155th place with a time of 22:00. Aiden Edwards was 164th with his time of 22:44.

Isaac Hartman was in 175th place and Samuel Treptow was in 176th place with both having identical times of 23:48.

Alexis Arguijo was in 180th place with a time of 24:09 and Benjamin Schwartz was 191st place with a time of 26:05.
