After Bungum’s double-double helps Rebels defeat the Knights

The United South Central Rebels girls’ basketball team faced the Buccaneers of Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Friday, Feb. 7, and lost by a 20-point margin.

USC lost the game 63-43, despite having three players reach double figures in scoring, and one of those players hitting a double-double.

Olivia Bungum led the team in scoring with 14. Ivy O’Rourke and Alivia Bruegger both hit for 10 points with Bruegger also grabbing 14 rebounds to make the double-double.

Taylor Schroeder added five points and Chloe Bullerman and Reanna Obermeyer had two points each, with Bullerman also having eight rebounds and four blocked shots.

USC 65, A-C/G-E 51

The United South Central girls basketball team once again had three players hit double figures in scoring as they defeated the Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons Knights by a score of 65-51.

Olivia Bungum once again led the Rebels with a double-double, 28 points and 13 rebounds.

Taylor Schroeder had 21 points and five rebounds, while Ivy O’Rourke added 12 points.

Alivia Bruegger had two points and 11 rebounds, while Chloe Bullerman had two points, four rebounds and four blocked shots.
