Dickson wins 400-meter dash at LCWM/N

Angel Dejesus runs the final leg of the 4x100-meter relay at the BEA Buc 6 Invitational in Blue Earth.
The United South Central/Alden-Conger girls and boys track teams each finished in the middle of the five team track meet hosted by Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial/Nicollet.
Girls Results
The host school LCWM/N placed first in the meet with 161 points while St. Clair/Immanuel Lutheran was the runner-up with 76 points. USC/A-C was third with 66 points, Blue Earth Area was fourth with 54 and Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther was fifth with four points.
The Rebels’ Danyelle Dickson placed first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:03.10.
Dickson was third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.14.
In the 100-meter dash, Tatum Stangler ran to a sixth-place finish with a time of 14.47.
Clare Kruse crossed the finish line in 2:56.16 in the 800-meter dash to finish in fifth place.
USC/A-C performed very well in the 100-meter hurdles. Madison Passer finished second in 17.94, Sydney Sauke was third in 18.3 and Chloe Bullerman was fourth in 18.35.
The Rebels also did well in the 300-meter hurdles with Bullerman taking first place with a time of 52.27 and Passer finishing fourth in 55.65.
The 4×100-meter relay team of Becca Kruse, Sauke, Madison Meyer and Stangler finished in second place with a time of 56.55.
In the 4×800-meter race, Clare Kruse, Emma Johnson, Hannah Warmka and Hailey Bjornstad ran a time of 13:05.96 to finish in third place.
Jaelyn Stangler’s toss of 29-09 was good for fourth place in the shot put. Stangler finished in second place in the discus with a throw of 90-03.
Sydney Sauke placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 29-11 and Passer was fifth with a distance of 29-01.
Tatum Stangler finished third in the high jump and sixth in the long jump. She cleared the bar at 4-08 in the high jump and had a leap of 14-05 in the long jump.
Passer finished in a tie for fifth place in the high jump with a mark of 4-02.
Boys Results
St. Clair/Immanuel Lutheran earned the top spot in the team results with 134.5 points. Coming in second was LCWM/N with 86.2, third was USC/A-C with 62.2, BEA finished fourth with 59.9 and GHEC/T/ML was fifth with 22.2.
Isaac Hartman captured first place in the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 16.73. Jace Ignaszewski was fourth in 18.35.
Hartman was third in the 300-meter hurdles in 45.3, Ignaszewski was fourth in 45.44 and Jayden Barnick was fifth in 48.41.
Angel Dejesus placed fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.61.
In the 400-meter dash, Maxwell Schull was fifth in 56.25.
Aiden Edwards had a time of 5:47.91 to finish fourth in the 1600-meter run.
The 4×100-meter relay team of Caleb Whiteside, Gavin Bird, Alexis Arguijo and Dejesus came in second in 48.73.
In the 4×200-meter relay, the team of Jaiden Aranda, Miles Kruse, Schull and Dejesus placed third in 1:45.29. Another Rebels’ team consisting of Joseph Ridler, Benjamin Schwartz, Maddex Niebuhr and Ben Dehne placed fourth with a time of 1:55.63.
Ignaszewski, Barnick, Hartman and Schull crossed the line in first place in the 4×100-meter relay with a time of 3:52.27.
The 4×800-meter relay team of Noah Hartman, Edwards, Riley Krohnberg and Garrettt Lau came in second place in 10:44.13.
Max Niebuhr’s toss of 40-06.50 in the shot put was good for fourth place.
Ezra Edwards had a throw of 138-08 to finish second in the discus while Henry Beaver finished fifth with a mark of 109-00.
Barnick was second in the high jump with a height of 6-01.
Joshua Brooks finished in fourth place in the pole vault when he cleared the bar at 9-06.
Dejusus was third in the long jump with a leap of 19-02 and Harman was third in the triple jump with a distance of 35-09.
