Members of the United South Central cross country team went on a team-building camping trip to help them prepare for the upcoming season.

The United South Central cross country teams participated in the Medford Tiger Trail Run, held at the River Bend Nature Center in Faribault, on Friday, Aug. 22.

For the varsity girls team, Isabella Guenther came in with a time of 37:24 in the 5k race.

The varsity boys were led by Laiken Farris who had a time of 19:24 in the 5k race, which was good for fourth place.

Taking seventh place was Aiden Edwards with a time of 21:56.

Gavin Gonzalez came in with a time of 22:37 and Riley Krohnberg had a time of 24:02.

In the Junior High boys 2.5k race, Micah Meyer had a time of 11:18 good for seventh place, and Anfin Druckenmiller had a time of 12:53 for 10th place. Elias Lenz clocked a time of 13:37.

The Rebels next meet was slated for Friday, Aug. 29, at Mountain Lake.
