Both the United South Central boys and girls golf teams ended up in second place in the Gopher Conference after four rounds of the Gopher Conference Golf Tournament.

Round 4 was played on Thursday, May 21, at the Lakeside Golf Course in Waseca.

USC Boys Golf Results

The USC boys placed first in Round 4 with a score of 344, but their overall four round total scores put them into second place.

The Rebels had a total four round score of 1,400 (340-352-364-344) for second place. In first place was Blooming Prairie with a score of 1,372 (340-332-355-345).

Triton was third with a score of 1,411, Kenyon-Wanamingo was fourth at 1,435, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton was fifth at 1,480, Randolph sixth at 1,482, Hayfield seventh at 1,554 and New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was eighth with 1,554.

The Rebels’ Kolt Bullerman led the team in Round 4, coming in with an 83, good for third place. Brennan Olson was in fifth place with a score of 84.

Ryder Anderson was in ninth place with an 87, and Colten Husfeldt completed the team score with a 93, good for 12th place.

Jaxon Hart had a 93 and was in 21st place and Octavio Hernancez was in 31st place with a 97.

Overall, for the four rounds, Brennan Olson led the team with a total score of 332 (82-80-86-84) landing him in sixth place. Kolt Bullerman was right behind in seventh place with a 336 (79-85-89-83).

Ryder Anderson was in 15th place with a 367 (90-93-97-87), Jaxon Hart had a 377 (97-94-93-93) for 19th place and Octavio Hernandez was in 20th place with a 378 (89-96-96-97).

USC Girls Golf Results

The USC girls team ended in third place in Round 4, but overall they came in at second place for their four round total.

They shot a 505 for their Round 4 score, behind first place Blooming Prairie’s 444 and second place finisher New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva’s 488.

In Round 4 Brynlee Olson shot a 112, good for seventh place. Caitlin McQueen was in 14th place with a 126, Bella Roberts was in 15th place with a 132 and Jayleigh Steckelberg was in 16th place with a 135, to complete the Rebels’ team score.

Zaylee Pick was in 18th place with a score of 136.

Taking in all four rounds, USC was in second place with a team score of 2,164 (548-537-574-505). In first place was Blooming Prairie with a team score of 1,840 (473-437-486-444).

NRHEG, Hayfield, JWP, Kenyon-Wanamingo, Randolph and Triton had incomplete team scores.
