BE Council hears about repair needs
The Blue Earth City Council discussed a series of unbudgeted repairs that needed to be completed at their meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8. City administrator Dawn Collins presented the council with a memo describing the various unbudgeted repairs that required urgent attention, and requested direction on which, if any, should be completed. “Swimming Pool director Michelle Hall has been in contact with American Leak Detection, who have given us an estimate on repairing the fractured TEE pipe and waterline tile replacement,” Collins reported. “That cost will be around $11,130. We do not yet have an estimated cost for the repair of the spray features and fractured pipe leak.” Collins also noted that the hydraulic leak repair on the Fire Department’s ladder truck was quoted at $16,205 by Fire Safety USA, which was confirmed by Blue Earth fire chief Corey Survis, who was ...
