Blue Earth Area’s softball team is roughly mid-season and that is the word to use for their last few games: rough.

On April 21, the Bucs went against Fairmont on the Cardinal’s home field and did not do well. The Bucs lost the game 14-0 in four innings.

Makenzie Slette pitched two innings for BEA and faced 10 batters. She had no strike outs and allowed nine base on balls.

Adri Dulas pitched the other two innings and also faced 10 batters. She had three strike outs during her time at the mound and allowed four base on balls.

The girls took on Waseca in BEA on April 26 and New Ulm at BEA’s 14th Street fields on April 29. These game statistics were unavailable and took place after the Faribault County Register’s deadline and will be featured in the next issue along with the softball team’s stats and scores as they face Waseca on May 2 and Windom on May 3.
